Low Fee Structure for MBBS in Kazakhstan

The strongest pull factor for studying MBBS in Kazakhstan is the low-fee structure for quality MBBS programs and other affiliated programs in medicine. The high quality of education and training, the remarkable affordability, and excellent future prospects makes studying MBBS in Kazakhstan quite a lucrative prospect. Here is a breakdown of the overall fee structure of MBBS in Kazakhstan:

  • Tuition Fee
  • Hostel Fee
  • Mess Charges

In Kazakhstan, the overall cost of completion of an MBBS program at top medical colleges in Kazakhstan is much lower when compared to the cost in India. For instance, if a candidate has completed the MBBS program at Kazan National Medical University, the tuition fee per year would be USD 6400 per annum, and that of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University would be USD 4900 per annum. This roughly translates to 30 lakh INR per annum.

In India, the top-rated private medical colleges in India typically have a higher fee structure than government medical colleges in India as well as medical colleges in Kazakhstan. The challenge in India is, however, the cutthroat competition for limited MBBS seats in government institutes, owing to which a lot of meritorious students are left out of the government structure and pushed to pursue medical programs in expensive private universities. Most private medical schools in India offer medical programs (particularly the MBBS program) for 50 lakh to 1 Cr.
